We are regionally competitive, large projects include 60,000m2 for the tobacco industry in Zambia in 2003 and Agristructures currently supplies international mining house, First Quantum, minerals with complete fabricated steel buildings for the development of Trident project in Northern Zambia which is the biggest mine of its kind in Africa. Local and regional contracts are carried out to the highest of standards. Design and working drawings utilize modern software detailing programmes; buildings are fabricated using precision cutting and welding equipment and our trained installation crews undertake the complete installation, from the foundation stubs, lifting the structural steel frames to laying the roof and side cladding to provide a complete building. Translucent sheeting, roller and sliding doors, continuous or individual roof vents and insulation are all optional extras that ensure the building performs to its intended usage. We are partnered with civil contractors who undertake brickwork and floor slabs to specified architectural details and finishes, as well as supply and fit plumbing and electrical components. All operations dovetail in an efficient flow of work to planned deadlines of occupation. Agristructures (formerly Car Guard Construction) has over 20 years experience in steel buildings covering most aspects of agriculture and industry. Large projects include over 60,000m2 shed buildings in Zambia for the agriculture and Industry (mainly tobacco) in 2003 and more recently large mining buildings in DRC for the international mining house First Quantam minerals. We are up to date with morden steel construction methods and constantly research solutions for customers requirements. Since dollarisation material choices are no longer a restriction to design. We have in the past provided steel framework for customers to infill with conventional bricks, but have extended this framework to include galvanised steel wall cladding double or single skin with or without insulation.
