What Your Inverter Screen Is Actually Telling You

Stop Guessing. Your Inverter Is Talking to You Every Day!
Most people only look at “battery percentage.” That’s like checking fuel gauge and ignoring the engine light. Here are the 3 numbers that matter:
1. Battery Voltage (V)
This is your real fuel gauge.
- 24V system: 25.6V+ = full. 24.0V = half. 23.0V = empty.
- 48V system: 51.2V+ = full. 48.0V = half. 46.0V = empty.
Check it at night with no solar. If it’s 23V by 8pm, you are over-using or undersized.
2. Load in Watts (W)
This is how fast you are draining the tank.
- TV + lights + fridge = 300-500W. Fine.
- Add kettle = +2000W ❌. Now you are at 2500W. Battery drains 5x faster amd battery life is reduced by 95%!
If load is always above 600W at night, your battery will not last the night.
3. Solar Input in Watts (W)
This is how fast you are refilling the tank.
At 12pm clear sky, a 5kW array should give 3500W+. If it shows 1200W, your panels are dirty, shaded, or faulty.
One Rule to Remember:
If you have too much loads during the day , you are draining the power, thus less charging the battery even during the day.
That is why batteries die by 6pm. You used more than you made😊🤷🏻♂️.
