Let the People’s Vote Be Respected 🇿🇲

All Zambians are watching what is happening in our country, and we are asking legitimate questions about the electoral process.

1. If you are confident that you have won, why harass or threaten opposition leaders and supporters? Every political leader must be protected, regardless of party affiliation.

2. Are Gen 20 result forms no longer valid unless they agree with the ECZ figures? The public deserves a clear explanation of how polling-station results are verified and reconciled.

3. Does a Parallel Voter Tabulation (PVT) no longer matter? If there are differences between PVT figures and ECZ figures, let the figures be independently checked against the original polling-station documents.

4. Is this truly a free and fair election if opposition strongholds or influential opposition figures are being targeted? Every voter must be free to choose their leader without intimidation.

5. Why force political power on people through intimidation, manipulation or undemocratic methods? Leadership should come from the will of the people, not fear.

6. If there has been any attempt to manipulate or rig the election, why not allow the evidence to be examined openly? Transparency protects both the winner and the loser.

We are not calling for violence. We are calling for truth, transparency and justice.

Let the original results from polling stations speak. Let party agents, observers and the ECZ verify the figures openly. Let the people's vote be respected.

NB: Do not tamper with the results. Preserve every Gen 20 form, ballot box and electoral record. We believe the truth will come out, and whoever the people have chosen must be allowed to lead.
