EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES
The Zambia Qualifications Authority (ZAQA) is a statutory body established pursuant to the ZAQA Act No. 8 of 2024 to develop and implement a National Qualifications Framework (NQF), register qualifications on the NQF, verify and evaluate qualifications and ensure that standards and registered qualifications are internationally comparable.
ZAQA is currently seeking the services of suitably qualified persons to fill the positions of:
1. ACCOUNTS OFFICER (Permanent and Pensionable)
Overall Responsibility
To undertake financial management functions in order to ensure accountability of funds.
Qualifications and Experience:
i) Full Grade 12 School Certificate
ii) Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or equivalent iii) Member of the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants iv) Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience
v) Ability to write technical and analytical Reports vi) Ability to communicate effectively in English
vii) Qualifications under (i) and (ii) MUST be verified by the Zambia Qualifications Authority and verification/evaluation certificates submitted together with the application
2. ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT (Permanent and Pensionable)
Overall Responsibility
To undertake provision of basic financial management support services in order to facilitate production of financial reports.
Qualifications and Experience:
i) Full Grade 12 School Certificate ii) Diploma in Accountancy or its equivalent
iii) Member of the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants
iv) Demonstrable experience in stores management will be an added advantage
v) Ability to write technical and analytical Reports vi) Ability to communicate effectively in English
vii) Qualifications under (i) and (ii) MUST be verified by the Zambia Qualifications Authority and verification/evaluation certificates submitted together with the application
