🏗️ BUILDZAMBIA 2026 | FINAL DAY REFLECTION

As the BuildZambia 2026 Conference & Expo comes to a close, Day Two reinforced the event theme: “Driving Inclusive Infrastructure Development for an Equitable Zambia.”

The discussions highlighted the need to deliver infrastructure that is inclusive, accessible, fit for purpose and responsive to the people it serves. Equally important was the growing role of technology and innovation—from BIM, AI and digital project management tools to smarter construction methods and greater use of locally available materials.

A clear message throughout the Expo was that the future of Zambia’s built environment will require stronger collaboration, continued investment in local capacity, digital skills and a willingness to embrace more efficient and sustainable ways of building.

For SIMU Construction, it was a valuable opportunity to engage with industry professionals, stakeholders, potential partners and members of the public over the two days.

We extend our appreciation to the National Council for Construction (NCC), the speakers, exhibitors and everyone who visited our stand and engaged with our team.

🏗️ BUILDZAMBIA 2026 | DAY ONE REFLECTION

A productive first day at the BuildZambia 2026 Conference & Expo, centred on the theme “Driving Inclusive Infrastructure Development for an Equitable Zambia.”

The official opening by Professor Albert Malama, Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Infrastructure,Housing and Urban Development - Zambia, highlighted important conversations around stronger Government–private sector partnerships, building the capacity of local contractors, and embracing technology and AI to improve the design, procurement and safe delivery of construction projects.

At SIMU Construction, we were pleased to welcome industry professionals, stakeholders and members of the public to our stand. The engagements and exchange of ideas reinforced the value of collaboration, innovation and local capacity in strengthening Zambia’s construction sector.

Thank you to everyone who visited and engaged with our team today.
