A masterclass in structural enclosing. We designed this transitionary courtyard with a soaring, curved glass-and-steel barrel vault to invite the sky inside while keeping the space sheltered from the elements. Enclosed by deep, rich exterior walls and natural foliage, this atrium acts as a tranquil, light-filled sanctuary connecting the various wings of the home. 🌿🛡️

The ultimate test of residential architecture: how it makes you feel inside. We designed this open-plan living area to completely dissolve the boundary between indoors and out. Large-span glass folding doors open the home to the elements, while the exposed structural overhangs provide natural shading and comfort. From the warm timber floors to the framed mountain vistas, every view is curated. 🛋️🌿

This upper-level terrace utilizes a custom timber pergola to filter the sun, creating a dynamic, ever-shifting pattern of light and shadow throughout the day. Grounded by glass balustrades and framed by deep teal-colored walls, it’s a structural outdoor room that offers shelter without compromising on the view. ☀️🌿

Design should never fight its environment; it should elevate it. We engineered this home to pay homage to the towering peaks behind it, using strong, earthy tones and tiered structural volumes that mimic the natural incline.

It’s all in the details. The horizontal timber cladding on the upper cantilever doesn’t just add warmth; it introduces a fine-grain texture that softens the home's bold, geometric massing. Paired with dark, grounded structural supports and expansive glass, the material palette is designed to weather beautifully and sit naturally within its environment. Good design is about how materials speak to one another. 🪵✨

Great architecture is a dialogue between form, function, and the landscape. This residential design captures exactly that, with its contrasting volumes—a striking cantilevering timber-slatted structure balancing over robust, deep-toned concrete pillars. By elevating the upper volume, we didn’t just create a dramatic architectural statement; we opened up the ground floor to seamless poolside living, all while framing the breathtaking mountain backdrop.
