💥💥💥 **FLASHBACK FRIDAY | NEW RESIDENTIAL BUILD.**

A look back at this newly built home, where wecompleted all the aluminium and glass works.

From the windows and glass doors to the custom aluminium slatted gate, each installation was designed to complement the home's clean, modern architecture. The bronze-toned aluminium frames add warmth and contrast against the white exterior, while the different window and door configurations provide natural light, ventilation and practical access throughout the home.

It's a good example of how aluminium and glass can work together across an entire property, creating a consistent look without compromising on functionality.

Another residential project we're proud to have been part of.

THE RIGHT DOOR STARTS WITH THE RIGHT QUESTIONS. 🚪🔑⏩

Sliding, stacking or hinged? Choosing aluminium doors isn't just about which style you prefer.

Think about how you'll use the space every day. Do you need a wide opening onto your patio? Is there enough room for a hinged door to swing open? Would a sliding door make better use of the available space?

It's also worth considering the direction of the sun, exposure to wind and rain, security requirements and how the doors will work with the rest of your home.

Each option has its advantages, and the right choice depends on the space and how you plan to use it.

At HVS, we help clients explore aluminium door solutions that suit their practical needs and the design of their homes, because a well-chosen door should work just as well as it looks.

GLASS THAT WORKS FOR YOUR SPACE.

Glass does more than let in natural light. It can create privacy, improve comfort, open up a view or define a space without closing it in.

Frameless balustrades and glass showers to skylights, glass partitions, display cupboards and custom glass features, each application has its own requirements, and choosing the right glass involves more than appearance.

Clear, toughened, laminated, solar-control and double-glazed options offer different benefits depending on the intended use, safety requirements, sunlight, temperature and privacy needs.

At HVS, we consider the complete installation, including the glass, supporting systems, fittings and how the space will be used.

As an AAAMSA and SAGGA registered company, we understand the importance of appropriate glass selection, industry standards and professional installation, because the right glass isn't simply about what looks good. - it's about what works for your space.

💥💥💥FLASHBACK FRIDAY | HOUSE BOASHI

A look back at House Boashi, where HVS completed all the aluminium works and glass balustrade installations.

From the aluminium windows and doors to the glass balustrades, each element plays a part in bringing the home's architectural design together.

The glass balustrades provide a protective barrier while maintaining open views and allowing natural light to move through the space. Alongside the aluminium installations, they contribute to a clean, cohesive finish that complements the overall design.

A project that brings together practical functionality, considered detailing and modern architectural appeal.

IT'S THE LITTLE THINGS!

A beautiful aluminium installation isn't just about how it looks from a distance. Sometimes, it's the smaller details that deserve a closer look.

The way frames meet at the corners, how neatly a door sits within its opening, the alignment of handles, hinges and fittings and those finishing touches that bring everything together. They're not always the first things you notice, but they make a difference to how an installation looks, feels and functions.

At HVS, we believe the details deserve just as much attention as the bigger picture - take a closer look at the workmanship behind our aluminium installations.

BEYOND WINDOWS & DOORS. 🚪🪟💨

When you think of aluminium, windows and doors probably come to mind first, but there's a whole lot more you can do with it - Custom entertainment area cupboard doors and aluminium gates to air-conditioning compressor screens and generator enclosures, aluminium offers practical solutions for spaces where standard products don't quite fit.

Some features are designed to stand out and others are made to keep things neatly tucked away, without compromising on access or functionality.

At HVS, we manufacture custom aluminium solutions around the specific needs of each project, combining practical design with a clean, considered finish.

Some projects are a little further off the beaten track, and this one certainly was.

Set right against the mountains, this remote cabin is a great example of how different the working environment can be from one HVS project to the next.

When you're working in a more rural or remote location, preparation matters. You need to understand what the project requires, manufacture accordingly and arrive on site ready to work with the conditions you find there.

For HVS, being adaptable isn't only about making aluminium and glass to suit different buildings. It's also about being prepared to work in different settings - and finding practical ways to meet the client's needs wherever the project takes us.

Here, the dark aluminium and generous glazing work beautifully with the architecture while allowing those incredible surroundings to remain part of the experience.

A pretty spectacular view from the office that day. 😄

Based in Wellington. Working wherever the project takes us.

A good installation shouldn't make you notice the installation.

When everything lines up, operates as it should and sits properly within the space, you see the finished result, not all the work that went into getting it there.

But there’s plenty happening before that point....Measuring, manufacturing, preparing, checking, adjusting, installing and sometimes checking the same thing again because a few millimetres really do matter.

That final part of the job is just as important to us as making it in the first place, and it takes time, experience and people who care about getting the details right.

Built with care. Installed with precision.
