Behind every one of our successful projects are leaders who turn complex structural challenges into the clients' envisioned reality. Today, we are proud to share a major milestone in our story: Hendri van Zyl and Lovohan van Schalkwyk have stepped into their new roles as Associate Directors.

Hendri has over a decade of construction experience and has been an integral part of the original team since our inception six years ago. A B.Eng Civil Engineering graduate from the University of Pretoria, a dedicated project manager, and a dad of two, he is known for one constant quality: he always makes a plan. From site management to anticipating project needs before they escalate, his reliability, client focus, and dedication to supporting his team have helped shape our company culture.

Bringing that same depth of expertise to our executive direction is Lovohan van Schalkwyk, with us from our day one. With a National Diploma in Civil Engineering from NMMU and a Bachelor’s in Structural Engineering from TUT, Lovohan’s footprint spans more than 7 years of high-impact engineering across the African continent, from roads and prestressed concrete to steel structures. Actively involved in every stage from planning and design to final site supervision, his hands-on approach ensures precision in everything we build.

As Associate Directors, Hendri and Lovohan will continue to drive the day-to-day excellence, client relationships, and structural innovation you expect from us, now guiding our vision into the future.

SOUND ON📢

New life and bigger capacity just outside Kalumbila Mine, Zambia! 🚜🏗️

We’re thrilled to share our progress on the Group warehouse extension. We are taking this facility to the next level, by not only expanding the warehouse, but also installing a massive 20-ton gantry crane to support heavy operations.

Good luck to the Zambian team and the project managers, TIME Projects, who are currently busy with the groundworks.

Our industry is now starting to feel the full impact of ArcelorMittal South Africa closing its long steel division a year ago.

Lead times are expanding. Quality and traceability compliance on imported or alternative profiles remain major hurdles for many project teams.

The primary frames of our pre-engineered buildings (PEBs) consist of custom-designed and fabricated welded beams made from steel plates, rather than hot-rolled sections. Therefore, our manufacturing operations and delivery schedules are completely unaffected by local section shortages.

While industry bodies work to resolve import tariff waivers and supply bottlenecks, we continue to deliver fully compliant, high-spec steel structures on time.
