Security Technician
Area: Vaal Triangle
You will be installing and maintaining a range of alarm systems, CCTV cameras, gate motors and finding and repairing any malfuntions.
To ensure success as a security technician, you should demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as good electrical background.
Responsibilies:
•Performing inspections & diagnosing any problems
•Completing full installations
•Travelling to customer locations
•Reading, understanding and following product manuals
•Install and program electronic security equipment in residential and commercial buildings
•Mount and fasten control panels, door and window contacts, sensors, and video cameras, and attach electrical and telephone wiring in order to connect components
•Educating customers on care and maintenance
•Writing service and status reports
•Analyzing plans
• Testing all features and equipment
•Excellent problem-solving skills
•Valid drivers license
•Willingness to work after hours and on weekends if needed
