When the lines between client, architect and project manager get a little blurry… It usually means there’s a whole lot of care going into the project.

At House Van den Berg, the roof is up, the walls are plastered, and today we started priming. Behind the scenes, the final finishes are being selected, details are being resolved and decisions are being made — lots of them.

Now comes the big push.

Another month and a half of hard work, and this house should be ready for its family to move in.We’re getting there. And we’re very excited to see this one come together.

A careful restoration, renovation and addition for this grand old lady in Paarl — breathing new life into a space filled with history and character.

After months of planning, problem-solving, detailing and site visits… the last two weeks are where everything starts coming together.

Lights on. Floors down. Paint complete.
The small details suddenly become the big moments.

This Paarl project for SanLucar has been such a rewarding transformation — balancing clean contemporary interventions with the character of the existing structure.

Almost handover ready, and we cannot wait to share the final result.
