🚨 POSITIVE ARREST | THEFT & HOUSEBREAKING 🚨

Quick thinking and great teamwork helped our team make two arrests following a theft incident in Alexander Street & Corner Papegaai Street. 💪

📍 Arrived: 06h07

The SITI team noticed an open gate in Alexander Street and immediately alerted ABC Security. A Response Officer was dispatched and found that the gate had been derailed.

A female suspect was apprehended with two bags of dog food that had been taken from the premises. 🐕‍🦺

During the investigation, our day-shift Officer continued assisting at the scene. While escorting the female suspect to SAPS Stellenbosch, she pointed out a male who she claimed was with her.

Although SAPS could not link the male to the housebreaking, the Officer conducted a search and discovered several suspicious items, including gloves, a torch, a knife, two Mandrax tablets and a smoking pipe containing Mandrax. 👀

Female suspect: Arrested for housebreaking and theft.
Male suspect: Arrested for possession of Mandrax.

This incident is another great example of how alertness, rapid response and teamwork can make a real difference. From spotting something suspicious to following through with the investigation — our teams stayed vigilant every step of the way. 👏

🚨 POSITIVE ARREST | ALERTNESS IN ACTION! 🚨

Our Armed Response Officer, Officer Viljoen, was on patrol at De Wagenweg, Adam Tas Road, at approximately 01:40 on 18 August, when he spotted a suspicious individual standing against a wall at the Hensoldt & Voogdy Trust premises.

During a stop-and-search, Officer Viljoen discovered a knife and pair of scissors in the individual’s possession. 🔪✂️

While investigating further, he noticed something else that raised the alarm — the premises’ signboard had been removed. 👀

Our team immediately made contact with the client, who was informed that a case would be opened later that day.

👏 Fantastic work, Officer Viljoen! Your alertness, quick thinking and attention to detail helped uncover a suspected case of damage to property and theft from premises.

🗓️ WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

🔹 Creating, maintaining & managing staff rosters on Easy Roster
🔹 Ensuring all sites have the required staff coverage
🔹 Managing shift changes, replacements & roster adjustments
🔹 Monitoring overtime and helping control staffing costs
🔹 Liaising closely with our Operations teams
🔹 Keeping rosters accurate, up to date and compliant

✅ WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

✔️ Proven experience in staff rostering – essential
✔️ Hands-on Easy Roster experience – highly preferred
✔️ Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
✔️ Good understanding of shift work and scheduling
✔️ Knowledge of applicable labour legislation and working-hour requirements
✔️ Ability to work under pressure and manage changing priorities
✔️ Strong communication and problem-solving skills

🚨 Quick Response. Positive Outcome. 🚨

Our Armed Response team acted swiftly following a report of a woman being forced into a vehicle in Technopark on Thursday, 30 July 2026.

After receiving the emergency call, our Control Room immediately dispatched response officers to the area. Within minutes, one of our patrol officers located the suspect vehicle on Elektron Street and safely intervened.

The victim was able to remove herself from the vehicle and seek safety behind our response officers. SAPS was immediately called to the scene, where the suspect was arrested. A case of assault has since been opened.

👏 A big thank you to our vigilant Control Room team, the employee who reported the incident without delay, and our dedicated response officers for their professionalism, rapid action, and commitment to protecting our community.

Every second counts in an emergency, and this incident is a reminder that speaking up and acting quickly can make all the difference.
