💧 Why cover your JoJo / water storage tank?

Many people install a water tank and forget that the area around the tank matters too.

A proper shade-net cover can help protect your tank and pump area from direct sun exposure, dust, leaves, insects and general weathering. Direct sunlight can encourage algae growth where light reaches stored water, which is why water tank guidance recommends keeping tanks covered, sealed and protected from sunlight.

While a shade-net cover does not replace proper tank maintenance, cleaning, filtration or water treatment where needed, it is a smart extra layer of protection — especially for tanks used around homes, businesses, schools, complexes and farms.

At Sean Young – Shadeport Specialist, we custom-build shade-net covers for JoJo tanks, pump areas and outdoor water storage spaces.

✅ Helps reduce direct sun exposure
✅ Helps protect the tank and pump area
✅ Custom-built to suit your space
✅ Neat, durable and professional finish
