This practical and informative workshop introduces vermicomposting: a simple, space-friendly way to turn everyday waste into rich, living compost using worms.

Kezia from The Imperfect Impact will walk you through how easy and achievable vermicomposting really is - whether you live in a house, a townhouse, or just have a small outdoor area.

The system can be set up in a plastic tote or container that suits your space, and worms thrive on common compostable waste like:

- Food scraps
- Green garden waste
- Cardboard and paper
- Leaves and twigs

Once established, a vermicompost system produces nutrient-rich compost that can be used in your garden, mixed into soil, or even sold.

- A practical talk and demonstration on vermicomposting
