Astron Energy site rebrand in progress.
Our team is installing the new wingsets on the columns above the pumps using MEWPs, working on the canopy panels, applying the Quartech vinyl to the fuel pumps, and fitting the new dustbins on the prepared islands.
This is specialised live-site work. It requires certified height equipment, full fall protection, strict safety protocols, and precise alignment so every brand element meets the required standard.

An 8.2 m Jaguar and Land Rover pylon now stands in Accra, Ghana.

We installed it for the JLR dealer this week. It stands full height with the extension brackets fitted.

The visible steel is one part. The real weight sits below ground — over 3 tones of reinforced concrete and steel, engineered to hold the structure against the wind. The Jersen telescopic crane handled the lift.

MMC Rigging is proud to be part of the nationwide Astron Energy rebrand — one of the largest retail signage rollouts in South African history.

800+ service stations. Over 700 already transformed since the rollout began in 2022. We're on site in Brits working on another one.

Right now: the old pylon is down, and our team is busy connecting the electrical feeds that will power the new Astron Energy fascia — the orange, purple and white identity replacing Caltex's iconic 85-year-old colours.
