Here at Urban Farmer, we focus on edible plants (vegetable and herb plants), medicinal plants and plants that can be used as companions in a vegetable and/or herb garden. We are focused on organic eco-gardening and we choose to garden without the use of pesticides and harmful chemicals. We encourage the production of food on a small scale by every individual on this planet and we are constantly aiming to find ways to make it easier to grow your own food.

We harvested some Galangal today! Galangal root is a spice in the Ginger family (Zingiberaceae). It is a staple herb in Thai cooking, mostly ground into a paste with some other spices (there are sooooo many awesome recipies!) 🤩 I will try some and let ya all know what it tastes like! 😉😊
