🌼 Meet the sunshine shrub!

Say hello to Leucospermum cordifolium ‘Yellow Bird’, a striking South African pincushion with bright yellow, dome-shaped flowers that bring colour and character to the garden.

This evergreen shrub’s nectar-rich flowers attract birds and bees, making ‘Yellow Bird’ as valuable to garden visitors as it is beautiful to look at. It grows to approximately 1.2–1.5 metres tall and can spread 1.8–2.4 metres wide, creating an eye-catching garden feature.

For the best results, plant it in a sunny position with well-drained soil. Once established, it is also drought tolerant and requires relatively little water.
