Rhodesian Teak is a hard wood. Rhodesian Teak was used for the manufacturing of railway sleepers during 1800 and 1900, due to the fact of its durability and natural oils inside the timber. To manufacture decking timber from the same source is an obvious choice. Using Africa timber in an African environment is best suitable due to the weather and climate conditions that could have an influence on the timber. Our timber can be used for indoor and outdoor purposes. Applications:
• Wooden decks
• Wooden Jacuzzi decks
• Wooden pergolas
• Wooden pool decks
• Wooden sun decks
• Timber sales
• Clips and screws
• Patio furniture
Treatment and maintenance:
All timber outdoor structures must be treated to prevent wood decay. There are 5 principals of wood decay
• Woodborers
• Fungi
• Termites
• Ultra violet radiation
• Moisture
The substructures of our decks is constructed with CCA( copper chrome arsenic) treated pine and poles. All decks are constructed with non-abrasive screws.
