On this Women’s Day 2026, and as a 100% women-owned cabinet designing and manufacturing company, we would like to celebrate our baby, Cabinet Concepts. 🩷
From humble beginnings in 2005, with a workforce of only five, we entered the daunting, male-dominated world of cabinetmaking.
This year, our baby came of age — 21 years!! 🥳
Our staff complement has grown considerably, with three of our team members having been with us for the full 21 years. (Two of our original staff members retired a couple of years ago.)
Over the past 21 years, we have been privileged to be part of some major developments and iconic buildings throughout our friendly city and beyond.
Naming all the major projects we’ve been involved in would take too long, but one definitely stands out:
Being awarded the contract for our new Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium beginning of 2009 was probably the most daunting challenge we had faced, knowing the tight deadlines needed for the start of the FIFA World Cup 2010.
The feeling of standing inside the stadium grounds at the very start of construction was indescribable — knowing that we would be part of one of PE’s most iconic buildings.
That feeling was only surpassed when, with the start of the FIFA World Cup in 2010, we could sit inside this amazing stadium with all our staff, watching the game between Brazil and the Netherlands. The atmosphere inside our stadium was electrifying!
Our philosophy has always been to provide a service built on integrity, reliability and trust.
In our industry, you are only as good as your last job. We would like to thank all our loyal clients who have stood by us throughout the years and continue to support us.
