Things are really taking shape at Project 447, and we're loving how the different architectural elements are coming together!

Situated along the fairways of St Francis Links, this contemporary home explores the contrast between bold geometric rooflines and softer, sweeping curves, complemented by a beautiful palette of natural materials.

From the textured stonework and warm timber decking to the expansive glazing opening up views across the golf course, there's plenty of architectural character to appreciate!

With construction progressing beautifully, we can't wait to see the finished result!

As this exciting commercial development continues to evolve, Algoa Joinery is proud to be delivering a comprehensive range of premium aluminium and glazing solutions throughout the project.

The project combines the clean lines of the H Systems Jacaranda Flush Glazed Curtain Wall with the durability and scale of the Palace Heavy Duty Sliding Door System, creating expansive glazed elevations that maximise natural light while maintaining a refined architectural aesthetic. The Jacaranda system is specifically designed for high-performance commercial façades and offers exceptional design flexibility through its flush glazed appearance.

38mm Casement Windows have been specified to accommodate double glazing, supporting improved acoustic performance and thermal comfort throughout the building. The development also incorporates Clip 44 Shopfront Systems, Hillaldam Top Hung Sliding Doors, and premium Dormakaba ironmongery, ensuring both functionality and long-term reliability.

It's always rewarding to see a project move from drawings to reality, with the glazing and aluminium package now playing a major role in defining the character of the building.

Some sites inspire you to think a little differently. And often, that's where the most exciting architecture begins!

Tucked away within a residential estate in Knysna, this beautiful property presented a unique opportunity to create something truly special. With its steep natural slope, defined building lines and established architectural guidelines, the site called for a thoughtful and creative design approach.

Rather than working against the natural landscape, it was embraced, exploring how different levels could connect and how best to maximise the space, views and opportunities the site had to offer.

The result is a carefully considered design that plays with levels, rooflines and architectural volumes, creating some really interesting spaces and features along the way.

To bring warmth and character to the architecture, we introduced a natural palette of stone, timber, soft earthy tones and a beautiful muted green, allowing the home to sit comfortably within its surroundings.

We love how the unique characteristics of the site have helped shape the final result.
