Choosing a basin might feel like a minor line item on a renovation budget, but get it wrong and you’ll regret it. Your morning and evening ritual will remind you of your mistake every day!
As one of the functional and visual centrepieces of your bathroom, the right basin bridges the gap between hard tiled surfaces and soft linen textures. It dictates how you move through the space, where your eyes rest, and whether your tapware looks like an intentional pairing or a lucky guess. Consider it the anchor that turns a suite of separate bits and pieces into a cohesive, considered sanctuary.
Avoid the classic basin misstep. Read our FAQ guide on how to find the ideal basin for your space: https://bit.ly/FAQBuyingaBasin

The art of the walk-in shower with a frameless glass screen is the art of non-interruption. And uninterrupted design is very on-trend right now, with the current narrative of wellness design and the aesthetic of continuous surfaces. Or FLOW, as we call it.

A frameless glass screen keeps water in its place. Obvs. But its key task is to allow sightlines, light, and luxury to flow seamlessly across the room without the visual friction of heavy frames or clunky doors. Italtile’s exclusive Ruscello Black Shower Screen – barrier-free and curbless – brings architectural clarity to your sanctuary. By eliminating visual clutter, 8mm toughened safety glass lets light and air move freely. Ideal for all bathroom dimensions. And absolutely perfect for a compact space. Pair with continuous flooring and matt black tapware and accessories for a space that feels bold, but never loud. “Flow” is more about how a space functions than about how it looks, although form is key, too. Take your bathroom, for example. Is it supporting the rhythm of your day from energising mornings to slower, restorative evenings? Or could it do with a little help with a few elevated details? Like our head-turning Potenza tap range by Tivoli. Sculptural modern forms with timeless lines. Underpinned by solid engineering, quality materials, ergonomic function and impressive water-saving cred. Let’s not forget the 15-year guarantee, with 5 years on the cartridge.

Blacker-than-black matt finish. Powder-coated brass body. Beautifully considered handles that reward touch and are effortless to use. A 6L/min flow with a water-wise conscience. With the Potenza range, the beauty-function-longevity trifecta works to create flow in your bathroom. Rewarding you with a private sanctuary that moves at your pace. Nature is moving indoors. And it's not leaving. Because Biophilic Design isn't a passing trend. It's a lifestyle movement, rooted in thousands of years of human behaviour and literally hardwired into our DNA. From Roman villas featuring botanical mosaics, to Gaudí's organic curves that make the Sagrada Familia very much a temple for our time, to the plant-filled sanctuaries we curated for sanity during COVID lockdown, we’re a species that has always craved connection to nature.

This is the modern FLOW aesthetic. Nurturing spaces designed for seamless, restorative living. Earthy palettes, organic shapes, stone, wood, water, sunlight, fresh air and real indoor-outdoor connection. Stark has left the building. Soul has entered. And the benefits? Reduced stress, greater creativity, and a home that actually restores you. We’ve unpacked it all in our StyleNotes #5, and it might just change how you see every room in your home. The most harmonious homes do not feel divided into separate rooms. They flow.
FLOW is the underpinning aesthetic of Wellness Architecture, which makes space for multisensory layers. And NYRA brings them home.

NYRA takes the traditional stone-look porcelain tile to another level. This is a harmonising set of surfaces that capture the essence of nature. The soul of stone. One Signature Collection. A choice of textures. Three colours. Four versatile sizes. A family of feelings designed to cover any or every surface in your home and deliver a sense of continuous movement. A natural flow from the inside to the outside.

NYRA-drench your senses and discover the restorative quality of one continuous surface. 100% Italian. 100% exclusive. View this exclusive Signature Collection here: https://bit.ly/ItaltileExclusiveNyraCollection

We’re all for beige. It’s a big colour category in our tile portfolio for good reason. It holds the space. But it loves the contrast of interesting company. Beautiful rooms don’t happen when you play it safe. They blossom when bold enters the chat. Our 1200x2800 Salvia Green Pullido Rectified Glazed Polished Porcelain Slab with its unapologetically charismatic greens, creams and quartz-like inclusions brings monumental flair to your moodboard. A statement tile. Is it too much? Never. Just wait till you see it styled alongside, say, some playful mosaics, touches of brushed gold, pale wood, worn stone. Bold is never overwhelming in the right design context. Let us show you how to create head-turning moments. Not whiplash.
