Another maintenance project completed! 🏠🔨

This property needed a good combination of exterior maintenance and damp repairs to get everything looking fresh and functioning properly again.

For this project, our team:

🔨 Replaced the metal plates on the storeroom roof
🪵 Sanded and sealed the timber pergolas, awnings and exterior timber accents
💦 High-pressure washed the paving and treated it with a fungal wash
🏡 Corrected selected paving falls to improve water flow away from the property
🎨 Treated the damp-affected room with Damp Seal and finished it with fresh white paint

A nice transformation and another property given some much-needed maintenance and protection.

🚨 Another Roof Replacement Underway! 🚨

This is just one section of a larger roof replacement project. We have completed this portion using new ColorPlus 0.47 red corrugated roof sheets, giving the home a fresh new look and long-lasting protection.

As part of this phase, we also:
☑️ Replaced the old valley with a new aluminium valley flashing
☑️ Installed a new aluminium apron flashing below the apex to improve water flow onto the lower roof
☑️ Painted all flashings to match the new roof colour
☑️ Carefully reinstalled the existing ridge cappings

The remaining sections of the roof are coming soon, so keep your eyes peeled for the next stage of this transformation! 👀

Not all roof repairs are carried out as specified. 😟😟

We recently inspected a roof where the client was quoted for a new aluminium valley flashing as part of an insurance repair. However, instead of receiving a complete aluminium valley, the repair consisted of a combination of a small section of aluminium flashing and torch-on waterproofing installed over the existing valley.

Unfortunately, this is not a proper valley replacement and can lead to ongoing leaks and premature deterioration.

Always make sure you receive the work you were quoted and paid for. A correctly installed aluminium valley is designed to provide long-term performance and proper water runoff—not a temporary patch.

🚨 Another roof replacement completed 🚨

We removed the old, rusted corrugated roof sheets and installed new 0.47mm Colorplus roof sheets, secured with Class 4 roof screws and bonding washers for long-lasting performance. We also replaced the flashing between the apex and lower roof, treated the chimney cowl against rust, and waterproofed around the chimney base to ensure the home stays protected from future leaks.
