A tale of two modules:
This photo shows two of our installations which took place 7 months apart from each other.
On the first installation we used a tier-1 PV module which at the time was one of our preferred PV modules, and the second more recent installation we used the AIKO Energy Neostar all black PV module.
This module doesn't only stand out (or should we rather say blend in 😉) in the aesthetic department, but it also boasts improved efficiency and partial shading optimisation. Meaning better long term performance and greater PV yields for our clients.

Project G in Fernwood Estate, Knysna, was completed in October 2025. This installation boasts a Sigenergy 10 kW inverters with two 8kWh batteries and 32 AIKO Energy 500 W PV modules. Since installation this system has supplied 92% of the household's energy requirements!

This was another project delivered on time with all the required materials delivered by Herholdt's Group.

Project B in Fernwood Estate, Knysna, was completed in November 2025. This installation boasts two Sigenergy 8 kW inverters with two 8kWh batteries each and 48 AIKO Energy 500 W PV modules, providing this client with a future proof system and the ability to expand with additional batteries.

Herholdt's Group once again ensured we had everything required to deliver an on-time installation.

System commissioned today on Project H. Now waiting for on-site electrical and construction works to complete before finishing up last bit of work.
Already planning the next project, Project G (an off-grid system on a Karoo farm), with Herholdt's Group for delivery and installation next week.

Project K in Fernwood Estate, Knysna, was completed in December 2025. Since completion this plant has generated 1.25 MWh of solar energy and the client only had to import 53.72 kWh from the grid!

Another great installation with Sigenergy and AIKO Energy products supplied by Herholdt's Group.

A 25kW Sigenergy installation completed on Project T in Pezula last year in July. Great partnering with Herholdt's Group on this project.
Since completion this plant has generated a massive 11.06 MWh of solar energy with the client only having to have had imported 780.85 kWh from the grid!
