Crystal clear is easy to promise. The real difference is how much work it takes to keep it that way.
On some of our latest projects, we’ve installed salt chlorination with automatic pH control to take a lot of the day-to-day water management out of the owner’s hands.
Here’s what the system actually does:
The salt chlorinator uses a small amount of salt dissolved in the pool water and, through electrolysis, converts it into chlorine. That chlorine sanitises the water just like traditional chlorine would — the difference is that the system keeps producing it automatically while the pool is running, rather than relying on you to keep adding chlorine manually.
The automatic pH control continuously monitors the water’s pH and doses corrective chemical when needed to help keep it within the correct range. That matters because pH has a huge effect on how efficiently chlorine works. When the pH is too high or too low, you can end up using more chemicals, dealing with irritation, scaling or unstable water.
And then the pump and sand filter still do the physical filtration work — circulating the water and removing dirt and debris.
Put together, you get a system that gives you:
Less manual chlorine dosing.
More stable chlorine levels.
More consistent pH.
Fewer chemical swings.
Less time testing and adjusting the water.
More efficient sanitisation.
And, most importantly, less time babysitting the pool.
It doesn’t mean “zero maintenance” — every pool still needs care — but it can make pool ownership significantly easier and more consistent.
If you’re building a new pool or upgrading an existing one, we can advise on the right filtration and water-management setup for your pool.
