We’ve launched a fundraiser to buy Flash a bigger and faster wildlife rescue airplane.
Our current bush plane is tough, reliable and can land almost anywhere while staying light on fuel. However, with over 2,000 wildlife rescues across South Africa every year—covering all species—we’ve outgrown the space. We need more room for our two tracker K9s, specialized rescue gear, and our larger (or more numerous) wildlife patients.
Plus, our current aircraft isn't rated for night flying.
The Cessna Cardinal we’re eyeing covers all those bases and will allow us to respond whenever and wherever we’re needed.
We've raised just over R130k already. The purchase price is R2.1 million.
