Igniting skills to create work opportunities! 🔥🛠️
A truly momentous occasion at the Thabo Moorosi Multi-Purpose Centre as Maiktronix Academy, in partnership with the Department of Correctional Services and funded by MerSETA, celebrated the graduation of 81 resilient individuals from our Welding Skills Programme! 🎓✨
This incredible group comprising parolees, probationers, victims of crime, and JTG District community members, is proving that a person’s past does not dictate their future.
Through this collaboration, we are building a direct bridge from rehabilitation to economic independence.
Thank you to our esteemed dignitaries, including Deputy Minister Ms Lindiwe Ntshalintshali, National Commissioner Mr Makgothi Thobakgale, COGSTA HOD Mr Bafedile Lenkoe, traditional leadership led by Kgosi Tumo Jantjie, and our local industry partners for witnessing the practical welding demonstrations.
To our local mines, solar farms, and SMEs: The training phase is complete, and the employment phase must now begin! Let's build the JTG District together by giving these qualified welders the platforms they deserve.
