*REPORT*

Suspects vehicle that was used for theft of MV, Armed Robbery and Blue Light Gang CAS 90/10/2024 hit a Snipr LPR Camera, members immediately were dispatched to see if they can find the vehicle.

Within minutes, Sec Pros units spotted the vehicle and started monitoring.

Backup was called over radio coms, and members intercepted the suspect vehicle . The suspect jumped into another vehicle that sped off. Moments later the suspect jumped out the vehicle and fled into the velt. Members surrounded the suspect and apprehended him.

The vehicle was searched by law enforcement, and it was found that inside the vehicle was a police uniform and a blue light rig used to pull over vehicles

All necessary role players were contacted & further investigation will be done to link all the CASES together.

Control Report:

At approximately 12h45, GM1 – Liam informed us that he has spotted a vehicle that is wanted from a prior Snipr hit. The sought after vehicle is a white VW Citi Golf (HF********GP), Wanted in connection with House Break-ins from Terenure to Glen Marais starting in or around 2021.
The vehicle was pursued and successful brought to a halt due to the combined efforts of *SEC PRO RISK SERVICES/ Jungle boys/ Moto-track and Kempton Rapid Response*.
The vehicle has been impounded and has been transported to Kempton SAPS. Two suspects have been arrested.

Explosion close to a gas facility Brentwood Park

Great North Road is being closed down at the Engen garage to Gold Wagen.

We ask that if you are seeing black smoke that you move yourself and your vehicle in the opposite direction.

Please do not stop on arterial roads to stare at the situation move to a safe area as far away as possible.

We need to get emergency services to the scene and traffic is creating chaos. Roads are currently being closed for area safety.

There is an evacuation taking place at the same time.

Update...
Please note it was not a gas explosion but a veld fire that set a pile of tyres alit and this led to a few empty petrol tankers and a few empty gas canisters being set on fire.
The gas depot on the premises is secure.
ACSA has taken over the scene and everything is under control.
Thank you to all security companies, emergency services and other stakeholders holders that responded promptly and managed the situation.
