Walker Mowers South Africa was born in 2005 when it acquired the rights to import and distribute the Walker Mower products from Walker Manufacturing USA. The business was registered in 2006 and based itself in Roodepoort, Gauteng. Walker Mowers SA recognises the Walker Manufacturing products to be premium quality products manufactured by a reputable company which supports its products in both word and deed. It is therefore with confidence that Walker Mowers SA represents the Walker Manufacturing’s products, knowing that the products and the support given to the products by the manufactures, is unequivocally above the industry’s average. In order to replicate Walker Manufacturing's ethos in supporting their products, Walker Mowers SA has endeavoured to appoint highly qualified and competent staff at its office, as well as reputable dealers throughout South Africa to service and support these products. Because of an awareness that a product is, in many instances, only as good as the ‘parts back-up’, Walker Mowers SA has prioritised their ‘parts back-up’, making this one of Walker Mowers SA’s strategic distinctive advantages. It pleases Walker Mowers SA to have supplied Walker products to many of the industry leaders in the turf maintenance industry in South and Southern Africa, and to receive repeat orders for the Walker products from these role players. We respect and appreciate the partnerships we have developed with these industry leaders over the past years and view them, as we do all Walker clients, as members of the treasured Walker family. The owners of Walker Mowers SA entered the turf maintenance and landscaping industry in 1987 as contractors and have had the opportunity to gain invaluable industry related experience, the outcome of which, is much empathy for the difficulties experienced in the turf maintenance and landscaping industry.
