Umthunzi Garden Apartments
The double-storey apartments feature smooth plastered and painted walls, creating a clean, contemporary look. The stairwells are crafted with face brick, highlighting the rustic texture, while open trusses add architectural interest and an airy feel. Stone cladding further enhances the stairwells, adding depth and a natural element to the design, creating a unique contrast with the sleek finishes of the apartments.

“An abandoned town of half-built villas in northeastern China has found a new lease of life — farmers have occupied it and started using the deserted land to grow crops and rear cattle. The Chinese property giant Greenland Group broke ground on the State Guest Mansions project in a suburb of Shenyang back in 2010. The exclusive development in China's northeastern Liaoning province was planned to have 260 European-style villas to house the city's ultrarich. The half-built villas have become overrun by local farmers, who plough the land and plant crops on the overgrown lawns of abandoned villas. The desolate homes stand unfinished and unpainted like crumbling tombstones dotting the expansive wasteland.”

The ArtScience Museum at Marina Bay Sands is conceptualised and designed by architect Moshe Safdie as the first museum dedicated to the dynamic interplay between art and science. Designed as part of the Government of Singapore’s vision that Marina Bay Sands feature an iconic cultural building on the promontory, the ArtScience Museum is grounded around a circular base with 10 extending finger-like structures that house 21 naturally lit galleries. Surrounded by a lily pond reflecting pool and boasting commanding views of downtown Singapore, the Museum is a symbol for Singapore.
