Prairie-Style House Plan

This Neo-Prairie-style house plan offers courtyard living with a covered outdoor living area. Its modern façade includes frosted glass garage doors and a 5’ wide pivot door at the entry.

Big roof overhangs protect from the sun while giving the home its characteristic modern prairie look.

High horizontal windows are shaded rooflines giving public sides of the home privacy while large glass door walls and windows open to the protected and private courtyard giving owners’ suite, great room, study, foyer, dining and guest bedroom views of the pool or outdoor living areas without exposing them to public view.

The owners suite and study occupy one wing of the main floor, along with the laundry room which is accessed by a hidden door in the master bath. The opposite wing houses the guest suite, mud room and oversized garage.
