The Maranello is continuing its rise, with the fourth-floor well underway.​

With 180 cubic metres of concrete going into Level 4, bricks delivered to Level 2. and reinforcement, conduting and drainage taking their place within the structure, every stage brings the building closer to what it was designed to become.​

Four floors down. Four more to go.​

Farquharson continues to expand its national footprint portfolio with another project awarded to Farquharson starting to take shape in Paardevlei: The WeConnectU Head Office in Somerset West, is steadily moving from structure to place with every stage bringing the vision closer to reality.​

Building at scale is about more than putting one level on top of another.​

It requires the coordination of structure, reinforcement, formwork, services, materials, plant and site teams, with each stage carefully sequenced around the next.​

At The Maranello, Farquharson is managing these moving parts across a live construction site, turning technical drawings and specifications into a structure that can be built, level by level.​

Twenty-five years ago, Gareth Letcher joined us at Farquharson as one of our first employees.​

Today, he’s still going strong, and we’re proud to have this champion as part of the Farquharson family. 🏆​

From steel to still water.​

So, we’re on the second floor already, and busy with the pool.​

As you can see, the planned pool at The Maranello is currently just steel and formwork, holding a shape that isn’t finished yet.​

But already, everything is in place for what it will become. A still surface, set against Table Mountain.​

From a chalk mark to a nine-storey building.​

Every slab begins with a set out: columns, walls, and services marked by hand, checked against the drawings before any concrete is poured.​

Once cast, it disappears.​
