We’re incredibly excited to share that our design has recently received estate approval and is ready to move into the next phase.

This isn’t simply a renovation,

Final layers coming together.

With the curtains Hertex Fabrics now installed and the final touches slowly finding their place, this home is beginning to shift from construction site to lived experience.

A project shaped through collaboration, patience, detail, and countless layered decisions.

There’s something incredibly grounding about a full circle moment.

Six years ago, in the uncertainty and isolation of COVID-19 , a student sat in my Interdisciplinary Design class, navigating not just architecture, but a completely reshaped world of learning, thinking, and creating.

This week, he returned.
Not as a student — but as a voice.

Inviting him back into the studio to present his work and share his journey with our current class was more than just a guest lecture. It was a powerful reminder of what this module is truly about.

Interdisciplinary Design has always aimed to push beyond the boundaries of architecture …
to cultivate curiosity, adaptability,
and a way of thinking that evolves with time.

To see that trajectory unfold…
from student to professional,
from learning to leading…
that’s the real reward.
