Closing out our Women’s Month spotlight is Makungu Magnolia Maswanganyi.
Based at the De Aar 2 South Wind Facility, Magnolia is an HSE Practitioner who holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Disaster and Safety Management. She is currently furthering her studies towards a postgraduate qualification in Safety Management.
In her role, Magnolia contributes to strengthening our safety culture through risk management, compliance, incident prevention and emergency preparedness. For her, HSE is about more than processes and compliance – it’s about creating safe workplaces, protecting people and ensuring that everyone returns home safely to their families.
Magnolia also believes that our backgrounds and circumstances do not define how far we can go. Through continuous learning, consistency and the courage to step outside our comfort zones, we can create opportunities, challenge boundaries and make our mark. Her message to other women is simple – “believe in yourself, take up space, never underestimate the value you bring, be courageous and trust the journey”.
We celebrate Magnolia and the hundreds of women across Concor who continue to make their mark, inspire those around them and contribute to a more diverse, inclusive and empowered workplace.
