Can different Pylontech battery models be used in the same system? Yes—approved Pylontech low-voltage models can be mixed when they are configured correctly.

In this video, we explain how to combine US2000, US2000C, US2000D, US3000, US3000C, US3000D, UP5000 and UP5000D batteries. You will learn:

• Which battery should be selected as the Master
• The correct battery connection order
• Why the largest-capacity battery should normally be the Master
• How to prioritise newer-generation models
• What to check before expanding an existing battery bank
• Why firmware, SOC, voltage and battery condition must be confirmed

Correct configuration is essential for safe communication, balanced operation and reliable system performance. Always have the system checked and commissioned by a qualified installer before mixing or adding batteries.
