At Enza Construction, we believe that building communities extends beyond the structures we construct. It is about investing in people, supporting those around us and creating meaningful impact in the communities where we operate.

In honour of Mandela Day 2026, our team in Cape Town came together support the community of Heideveld, Beit-ul-Aman – Home of Peace for the Aged in Wynberg, and Robin Trust Home.

The initiative reflects Enza Construction’s commitment to our purpose: We Believe in Building Communities. It is also a reminder that meaningful community starts with recognising a need and taking action to support those who need it most.

Through initiatives such as these, Enza Construction continues to put our values of Teamwork, Community and being Solution Focused into practice, ensuring that our impact reaches beyond our construction sites and into the communities we serve.

We are proud of our Cape Town team for contributing to a Mandela Day centred on compassion, dignity and community.

Enza Construction, has once again, proudly sponsored the Wits Construction Economics and Management (CEM) Academic Dinner, supporting a platform that brings together academic excellence, industry experience and the next generation of built environment professionals.

This year, Enza Construction was represented by Edmond Bangani, Commercial Manager, and two of our Graduate Quantity Surveyors, Kerry-Anne Mafunga and Khani Maluleka. For Kerry-Anne and Khani, the evening was particularly meaningful. Having graduated from Wits in 2025, they returned to the university, not as students, but as young professionals representing Enza Construction after joining its Graduate Development Programme in 2026.

Their journey reflects the importance of creating meaningful pathways between academic learning and professional development. By connecting students with industry professionals, platforms such as the CEM Academic Dinner provide an opportunity to share knowledge, exchange experiences and inspire the next generation to consider the possibilities within South Africa’s construction industry.

At Enza, we remain committed to skills development, youth empowerment and creating opportunities for emerging built environment professionals to grow. Because building the future of our industry starts with investing in the people who will shape it.

To all the women of Enza Construction, thank you for the value you bring to our business, our projects and our communities. Happy Women’s Month.

This week marked a defining milestone for healthcare infrastructure in South Africa as His Excellency, President Cyril Ramaphosa officially opened the new King Nyabela District Hospital in Middelburg, Mpumalanga – a landmark facility designed and constructed by Enza Construction for the Mpumalanga Departments of Public Works and Health. The official opening took place on 4 August 2026.

Replacing the former Middelburg Hospital, the new 220-bed Level 1 district hospital has been purpose-built to strengthen healthcare delivery across the Steve Tshwete Local Municipality and surrounding communities. The facility includes a comprehensive range of clinical services, including internal medicine, surgery, paediatrics, obstetrics, high care and other essential healthcare departments, providing residents with access to modern, quality healthcare closer to home.

Representing Enza Construction at this momentous occasion were Group CEO of Crowie Holdings and Executive Chairman of Enza Construction, Rowan Crowie, Enza Construction CEO Clinton Crowie, and Contracts Director Tim Rowbottom, who joined government leaders, project partners and stakeholders in celebrating the completion of a project that will leave a lasting legacy for generations to come.

As a full design and construct project, King Nyabela District Hospital is a testament to what can be achieved through collaboration, technical excellence and a shared commitment to building infrastructure that serves communities.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the Mpumalanga Departments of Public Works and Health, our project partners, consultants, subcontractors and every individual who played a role in making this landmark development a reality.

Enza Construction was proud to take part in the Master Builders Association North (MBA North) Golf Day, joining industry peers for a day of friendly competition, meaningful conversation, and a shared commitment to our built environment.

Our team enjoyed a spirited round against colleagues from the South African Council for the Project and Construction Management Professions (SACPCMP), a contest played in excellent spirit and a reminder that the strongest projects are built on strong relationships.

Our thanks to MBA North for hosting an exceptionally well-run event, and to SACPCMP for the camaraderie on the course. Beyond the fairways, days such as these strengthen the collaboration between contractors, professional bodies, and regulators that keeps our industry moving forward.
