At Enza Construction, we believe that building communities goes beyond the structures we construct. It also means investing in education, developing future professionals and creating opportunities for young people to gain practical industry experience.

Our Civils division was proud to support the University of Johannesburg’s Department of Civil Engineering Technology as it took 40 Civil Engineering students on a seven-day academic excursion to Lesotho from 29 August to 5 September 2026.

The excursion gave students an opportunity to explore major infrastructure and water engineering projects associated with the Lesotho Highlands Water Project, while deepening their understanding of real-world project implementation and the construction industry.

As part of our sponsorship, Enza Construction provided branded merchandise, including drawstring bags, notebooks, pens, water bottles and lanyards the students
The initiative provided a valuable platform for students to connect their academic learning with practical experiences, while strengthening the relationship between industry and academia.

At Enza Construction, we believe that building communities extends beyond the structures we construct. It is about supporting people, responding to community needs and creating meaningful impact where we operate.

On 3 September 2026, the Zen and Berg Project team put this belief into action by distributing food hampers to an old-age home in Tulbagh and a disability centre in Porterville.

The initiative reflects Enza Construction’s commitment to our purpose: We Believe in Building Communities. Through practical acts of support, our teams continue to contribute to the wellbeing and dignity of the communities around our projects.

This initiative also brings our values of Teamwork, Community and being Solution Focused to life, reminding us that the impact of construction can reach far beyond the sites where we build.

Enza Construction is proud to celebrate the Limpopo Central Hospital Project on achieving second place in Category J (R750M Plus) at the 2026 Master Builders Association North (MBA North) Regional Health & Safety Competition.

This achievement recognises the project team’s commitment to maintaining high standards of occupational health and safety throughout the Limpopo Central Hospital project, as well as their continued focus on creating a safe, compliant and well-managed construction environment.

The MBA North Regional Health & Safety Competition provides construction companies with an opportunity to benchmark their Health & Safety Management Systems and implementation against industry peers, while demonstrating compliance with applicable legislation and recognised industry best practice.

On 3 August 2026, Enza Construction welcomed seven graduates to the inaugural Enza Construction Graduate Project Co-Ordinator Programme, a new talent development initiative designed to build a strong and sustainable pipeline of young professionals for the future of our business.

Over the past few weeks, our graduates have been immersed in training, developing the technical, administrative and project co-ordination capabilities required to support the delivery of increasingly complex and high-value construction projects.
The six-month programme takes a blended learning approach, combining structured theoretical training with practical, on-site experience. This enables our graduates to put their learning into practice, gain valuable exposure to the construction environment and develop the confidence and skills required to grow into high-calibre Project Co-Ordinators.

At Enza Construction, we believe that building communities also means investing in the people who will help build them. By creating meaningful pathways for young professionals to learn, develop and gain practical experience, we are strengthening our talent pipeline while contributing to the future of the construction industry.
We are proud to support our seven graduates as they begin this important chapter of their careers and look forward to seeing their growth throughout the programme.
