Regoor die wêreld saam met Seagull 🌍

Op die oomblik is ons reisigers op drie baie verskillende reise, op drie besonderse plekke in die wêreld.

Een groep is besig om die Balkan te ontdek - met sy ryk geskiedenis, interessante dorpies en pragtige landskappe.

In Oesbekistan volg ons groep die ou Syroete, tussen eeue-oue stede, kultuur en stories van ’n wêreld lank voor ons tyd.

En dan is daar die groep aan boord van die Australis, besig om die kuslyn van Suid-Amerika vanuit ’n heel ander perspektief te beleef.

Maar almal besig om die wêreld te ontdek en herinneringe te maak.

Imagine rebuilding an entire old city from memory.

Warsaw was almost completely destroyed in 1944.

And yet today, you can walk through its beautifully reconstructed Old Town.

The rebuilding drew on historical plans, photographs, surviving fragments and paintings to recreate what had been lost.

This is more than architecture.

It is a story about memory, determination and the decision to rebuild.

Our Germany to Poland tour ends in this resilient city.
And perhaps that is fitting. Because after travelling through centuries of European history, we arrive in a city whose very streets tell us that the past does not have to be the end of the story.

There is a particular kind of winter light in the far north. The days are quiet, the landscapes vast, and after dark, the sky becomes something to watch.

This 10-day Seagull tour travels from Stockholm into the Arctic interior of Kiruna, across to Narvik and Tromsø, before returning south through Oslo.

With a maximum of 16 travellers, the group can move according to the weather rather than wait in one place. There are three dedicated Aurora hunting nights, including a six-hour private chase from Tromsø.

And there is much more between the skies.

The Vasa Museum in Stockholm. The subterranean world of the Kiruna iron ore mine. Dog sledding through the Lapland forest. The Icehotel at Jukkasjärvi, rebuilt each winter from ice harvested from the Torne River. Sami traditions. The fjords and wartime history of Narvik. Time to wander Tromsø. And finally, Oslo.

If the Arctic has been on your list, this is the point at which to look at the route properly and decide whether it is the right fit for you.
