17 December - PROJECT HANDED OVER

After almost 4 months of hard work, we were able to hand over the keys to the owners of this beautiful Zimbali Beach Estate home ON TIME for them to enjoy their December hoilday.

This is just a sneak peak of the final product's photos and a glimpse of the magic we managed to create -
Turning an outdated "ugly duckling" home with a great location into a showstopper, front cover, tropical Miami magic dream home with immaculate, modern and unique finishes throughout.

We couldn't be more proud!
And our clients couldn't be happier!

The last few days on the Zimbali site was, to say the least, challenging...
Including a mishap with a cellphone which contained all the photos taken on site!

That said, we worked DAY AND NIGHT to complete the project by the deadline date and hand over a complete home in time, for the new owners to enjoy during the December holidays.

Due to every trade, subcontractor and finish being lined up and ready to go - the project ran like a well oiled machine!

The last 4 days were made up of:
- Installing last mirrors
- Installing glass balustrade on bridge
- Checking all installed aluminum and glass
- Completing wall paper installation
- Completion of bridge (exposed gravel concrete)
- Completion of pergola on balcony
- Completing custom wood installation around pillars
- Installing all light pendants
- Completing LED light installation
- Completing restoration and paint of wooden furniture
- Moving all furniture into the house

Welcome to our version of "The Block"!! 😂

3.5 months of hard work, early morning and late night jetsetting, finally coming to an end! 🥳

With only 8 days to go until we hand over the keys to this gorgeous holiday home in Zimbali to the owner - 🤯
We have 12 different trades working on the same site, at the same time - basically on top of each other! 🙈

Months have diligent planning and working behind the scenes are now coming together!

Exposed Concrete bridge completed and being scoured
Wall paper being installed - day 1 of 3
Steel pergola arrives
Steel pergola installed
Upstairs lounge feature walls completed and arrives at site
3D wall panels installed
Main bathroom vanity mirrors being installed
Main bathroom sanitary installed
Stairs mirrors being installed
Quartz carpet for downstairs patio and showers being prepped
Front door install starts
Ceiling paint colours chosen and starting to paint
TV lounge feature wall lights installed
Tiling on balcony starting

7 days to go!!!

Believe it or not -
On the 17th of December, our clients will be moving into their newly renovated Zimbali dream beach house for the December holiday!

Complete with all the bells and whistles!

3D wall installation 70% done - can't wait to see this feature completed!
More light fittings being installed
More clean up being done - look at those gorgeous 1500x750 tiles! 🤩
All glass balustrade and panels installed (balcony steel pergola arriving next week)
Front door ETA next week 😉
All sanitary ware installed (except the imported black loo for the main 🙈)

Don't forget what happens behind the scenes:
70m2 of mirror being made
Custom 7m feature wall with wood cladding and smoked mirror being manufactured
Custom 5m feature wall with aluminium and lights being manufactured

Now to assemble!
Plaster work being done on outside brick work
All glass windows and doors installation complete (except front door! 😱)
Glass stairs balustrade being installed
Site clean up started - scrub scrub scrub!

We are now in December! 🤯
