We were recently called to carry out a hot and cold water reticulation upgrade for a dairy farm out in the KZN Midlands! 🐄🥛🌱

This project has been divided into two phases, with Phase 1 now successfully completed! ✅

Phase 1 focused on installing new cold water supply lines into the plant room feeding the new gravity geyser, cold water solenoid and plate cooler system. Hot water is then supplied from the gravity geyser into a pressure pump feeding the hot water solenoid, ensuring balanced pressure between the hot and cold water lines for efficient system operation! 💧🛠️

Various isolation valves and Y strainers have also been installed throughout the system to ensure all new equipment remains fully serviceable, protected and easily accessible for future maintenance! 💥

We are extremely happy with how this project has turned out so far and are looking forward to Phase 2 getting underway soon! 🔥

Another successful installation completed at Nottingham Road SuperSpar! 👨‍🔧💧

We installed a 25mm galvanised water line across the roof of Nottingham Road Super Spar with multiple tee-offs for hose pipe connections. This setup allows for easy cleaning of the solar panels while also providing multiple access points in case of a fire emergency!🚨

The line was extended to the opposite side of the building where we installed a garden tap to supply a new fire hose reel!🔥

We also took the time to clean up existing pipework and carried out maintenance on the booster pump and filtration system — ensuring everything is neat, efficient, and in proper working order! ✅

Another successful stormwater upgrade completed ✔️

Cordwalles Preparatory School was experiencing severe flooding during heavy Pietermaritzburg storms due to collapsed and undersized stormwater lines. Our team removed the failed pipework, fully excavated the area, and installed a new heavy-duty 160 mm PVC stormwater line along with a channel drain in front of the art classroom to handle high water flow.

A new manhole was constructed, the system was thoroughly tested, and the area carefully backfilled and compacted to reinstate the paving neatly.

The result: a long-term, reliable drainage solution and no more flooding issues. Another job professionally done by Clear Edge Plumbing 💧🔧
