🚿 BATHROOM RENOVATION UPDATE | THE DETAILS ARE COMING TOGETHER

Another exciting milestone on this bathroom renovation!

The shower base is now complete with its mosaic finish, and the space is really starting to come together. The natural stone-style mosaic adds texture and character while complementing the larger-format wall and floor tiles.

At this stage, we’re allowing the space time to properly dry and cure before moving on to the final finishing touches. Taking the time to allow each stage to set properly is all part of achieving a quality finish.

🚨 PUBLIC HOLIDAY CALLOUT — CAPE TOWN

At MyPlumber, we believe that quality service doesn’t stop when the calendar says it’s a public holiday.

Our Cape Town team was called out to assist an elderly lady who had just returned home from an operation, only to find herself without hot water.

We knew this was more than just a plumbing call, it was something that needed to be attended to quickly.

Our team attended to the following:

🔧 Replaced a leaking geyser valve
🔥 Replaced the geyser element to restore hot water
💧 Repaired the geyser tray overflow outlet
✅ Checked the installation to ensure everything was left safe and operational

What could have been a very stressful situation for someone recovering at home was resolved by our team, even on a public holiday.

That’s what service is about.
It’s not only about fixing pipes, it’s about helping people when they need it most.

Progress continues at our Salta Estate double build, and we’re excited to share another major milestone.

All internal plumbing installations have now been completed, marking the end of a significant phase of this project.

Our team has successfully installed:

✅ 6 × Concealed cistern systems
✅ 13 × Concealed mixer systems
✅ 2 × Washing machine connections
✅ 2 × Dishwasher connections
✅ 2 × Prep bowl connections
✅ 2 × Kitchen sink connections
✅ Over 140 metres of copper pipework installed
✅ Over 50 metres of 50mm waste pipework installed

Every concealed installation has been completed with careful planning and precision to ensure the next trades can continue seamlessly. From concealed cisterns to extensive hot, cold and waste reticulation, this stage lays the foundation for a high-quality finished home.

Our team has successfully completed the installation of all concealed plumbing systems, ensuring every component is correctly positioned, securely installed, and ready for the next phase of construction.

Our team has successfully installed the roof plumbing pipework before the roof sheeting is fitted, ensuring every water line is correctly positioned, securely supported, and ready for the next phase of construction.

Getting the pipework right at this stage is critical. Once the roof is closed, accessibility becomes limited, so precision, planning, and quality workmanship are essential to ensure a reliable plumbing system for years to come.

Our scope included:
