Busy turning some green Silky oak from a tree felled near Albertinia Highschool's yard as well as some beefwood and gum, from there, also being given their initial bowlturning before drying for a few more months or longer in some very moist pieces case, and then to be returned to their final dimensions. The two pictures to the side are of the green silky oak's lovely grain, and then the final image is a little tea coaster project in the making.

The 5th annual Ladismith Youth Market on the 1st of July was an absolutely spectacular event and I am so tremendously happy to have been able to participate again! Truly a marvelous event with verily awesome young entrepreneurs and a phenomenal committee of organizers. Thank you to all who made the day an unforgettable success! Third trip to Ladismith with the Wadkin😁, glad to have once again been able to offer any who wish a chance to make some shavings on the lathe.
