CCG Electrical had the pleasure of attending an online seminar yesterday.

The seminar primarily focused on the new edition of our national electrical standards, SANS 10142 Ed 3.3, highlighting the significant changes and additions to our established standards.

Another Successful Cable Fault Location by CCG Electrical.

CCG Electrical was called out by a local electrical contractor in the Grabouw area to assist with a cable fault at a well-known apple and pear farm in the Vyeboom farming area.

Here’s how we solved it:

1. Pre-location test using our specialized diagnostic equipment.

2. Accurate fault pinpoint — we determined the fault was approximately 40 meters from the pump house.

3. Excavation & verification — the fault was confirmed to be cable damage caused by a bulldozer and ripper during field preparations.

Thanks to fast diagnostics and precise locating, downtime was kept to a minimum and the farm could get back to operations quickly.
