Komatsu recently partnered with the University of Pretoria to deliver a guest lecture for final-year Mining Engineering students, sharing real-world insights into equipment selection, CAPEX and OPEX estimation, and the decisions that drive sustainable mining operations.
Led by Application Engineers, Lesley Bokaba and Zwelakhe Radebe, the session connected classroom learning with real-world mining challenges, helping equip the next generation of industry leaders with valuable insights for their future careers.

The Komatsu PC01E-2 all-electric micro excavator has arrived at the Atlassian Williams F1 Team Fan Zone in Marina Square, Singapore, adorned in a special blue livery.
While many commemorative blue Komatsu machines have been produced since the partnership began in 2024, this marks the first time one has been on display at a Williams Fan Zone.

Congratulations to Ravi and Adley Pillay of Pillay Sands on the delivery of their very first Komatsu PC360LC-8M2 excavator, marking an exciting step into the over 30-ton class market.
