🚨 Is your lawn dead or just dormant?

This is the most common question we get every June in Gauteng. And the answer matters, because the treatment is completely different.

DORMANT (totally normal):
→ Uniform brown colour across the lawn
→ Grass pulls back firmly when tugged
→ Will recover fully in September

DEAD (needs attention):
→ Random irregular brown patches
→ Grass lifts easily with dry black roots
→ Has not responded to watering

The good news? 90% of Gauteng lawns are simply dormant and recoverable with the right winter care.

Yesterday the country paused for Youth Day. This morning the ACE Gardens team is back in Elspark, because great gardens don't wait.

Today's job: Full winter maintenance, mow, edge, and a complete leaf clear.

This is what 8+ years of consistency looks like. Rain or shine. Holiday or not. The standard never drops.
