Plumb Green is a company that is dedicated to reducing ‘our’ carbon footprint affordably. How we are doing that is by specialising in solar water heating and rain water harvesting. We see a great advantage in making use of free sustainable and renewable energy. Studies have been done in the G

eorge and surrounding areas; our climate is ideal for solar water heating and rain water harvesting due to the fact that we have high humidity in the summer months and low humidity in the winter months. This renders other water heating system inefficiency during the winter months when the humidity is low. Furthermore, being a predominantly winter rainfall area, we have the added benefit of capturing the rainfall drop by drop to our household advantage. Subsequent filtration and supply to the entire household is cost effective and an added benefit to costs.
