We’ve made good progress on site this week despite the public holidays. However, we’ve been inundated with calls of concern following an incident in the area on Sunday evening, as a video of it has gone viral.

TO CLARIFY, THE INCIDENT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH OPHILEX OR THE BUILDING SITE.

It does, however, highlight the potential dangers in this area. The vehicle in the clip was travelling down the road when its brakes appeared to fail, causing it to lose control, break through the wall, and go over the edge.
Thankfully, by God’s grace, the driver was not injured and is safe.
