🔧 Automotive Service Consultant / Service Advisor

Auto Aircon Exchange is looking for an experienced and motivated Automotive Service Consultant / Service Advisor to join our team!
We are passionate about providing excellent customer service, quality workmanship and keeping our customers safely on the road. If you have strong automotive knowledge, great communication skills and enjoy working with people, we want to hear from you! 🚗🔧
👨🔧 THE ROLE
You will be the key link between our customers and workshop team, ensuring that every vehicle repair or service is handled professionally, efficiently and to the highest standard.
📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Welcome customers and understand their vehicle concerns
• Explain recommended repairs, services and costs clearly
• Open and manage job cards
• Schedule appointments and coordinate workshop activities
• Keep customers updated on repair progress
• Communicate additional repairs and obtain customer approval
• Process invoices and explain warranties
• Identify opportunities for additional services and maintenance
• Maintain excellent customer relationships and service standards
✅ REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum 3 years' proven experience as an Automotive Service Advisor/Consultant
• Experience in a franchised dealership or reputable service centre preferred
• Strong technical knowledge of motor vehicles and diagnostic processes
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Professional, organised and able to work under pressure
• Valid South African driver's licence
• Own reliable transport
• Living in or around Edenvale will be highly advantageous
