Mild steel and pre-galvanised steel transformer room doors with louvre units are designed for durability, ventilation, and compliance with electrical safety standards. Mild steel offers strength and cost-effectiveness, while pre-galvanised steel provides added corrosion resistance, especially in coastal or humid environments. Louvre units ensure airflow and cooling for transformer equipment while preventing vermin entry.

▬ VARIATION OPTIONS ▬
• Mild Steel: Strong, secure, and economical. Factory finished with a red oxide primer for protection.
• Pre-Galvanised Steel: Better suited for coastal or high moisture areas. Provides enhanced corrosion resistance compared to standard mild steel.
• Heavy-Duty Hinges: Usually 3 per leaf, ensuring stability and long service life.
• Ironmongery: Standard fittings include pad latches, pull handles, and barrel bolts. Quick Release Mechanisms (QRM) can be added for emergency access.
• Opening Options: Outward opening is standard, but inward opening can be manufactured on request. Left- or right-hand configurations available
• Ventilation: Louvres allow airflow to regulate transformer room temperature and prevent overheating.

▬ TIMBER MOULDINGS ▬

Architectural mouldings combine decorative elegance with practical function, enhancing interiors by protecting walls and floors while sealing openings against the elements.

Careca offers a wide range of timber mouldings including skirtings, architraves, plinth blocks, dado rails, quarter rounds, glazing beads, Meranti T pieces, and weather bars. Designed to provide both protection and elegance, these mouldings complete the look of any interior space. Skirtings cover the joint between wall and floor, while architraves frame openings with durability, functionality, and a polished finish.

▬ INTERNAL FINISHING MOULDINGS ▬

Skirtings (Baseboards): Conceal flooring expansion gaps, protect lower walls from kicks, furniture, and cleaning equipment, and provide a neat transition between wall and floor.

Architraves: Decorative trims around doors and windows that hide joints, cover shrinkage cracks, and enhance the overall finish.
Plinth Blocks: Transition pieces at the base of door frames, ensuring a flush fit where skirtings and architraves of different thicknesses meet.

Dado Rails (Chair Rails): Horizontal mouldings at waist height, traditionally protecting walls from chair backs, now used decoratively to divide wall surfaces for varied finishes.

Quarter Rounds: Small rounded trims used to cover gaps between skirtings and floors or in internal corners, delivering a clean, polished look.
