*Incident Report*

On Monday, 4th May 2026, CPG Units were alerted of a incident that occurred in North Road, Edenvale.

CPG Units were given a description of suspect in question.

A few minutes later the suspect was apprehended, it was established the suspect has assaulted & r***d a female individual.

The scene was contained, Medical services were dispatched & arrived on scene for the victim. The victim is okay!

SAPS was dispatched & arrived on scene whereby the scene was processed accordingly.

Well done to all involved!

On 21 April 2026, AP Netshimboni received a complaint regarding an African male suspect allegedly in possession of an unlicensed firearm. The information further indicated that the suspect, together with an associate, had previously been involved in the shooting of a JMPD member.

Upon receiving the information, I requested backup, and we proceeded to follow up on the lead. This led us to No. 72 # # # Kensington, where the suspect was located.

During the operation, the suspect was found in possession of an unlicensed firearm as well as drugs. The suspect was identified as Fernando Chitive, a Mozambican national, and was subsequently arrested for possession of an unlicensed firearm serial number was filed out and drugs.

The suspect was detained at Cleveland SAPS.
