We were tasked with producing a wheelchair friendly bathroom that took design inspiration from the love of the protea flower.
We decided to paint one wall in a dusty pink, and tiled the rest of the bathroom with a kitkat accent on the shower wall. A protea picture was printed and framed to match an old gold mirror.
Because wheelchair friendly basins can not accommodate a cabinet, extra cabinet space was installed on the entry wall.
Grab rails next to the w/c and in the shower, as well flip up seats and a bespoke 10mm glass shower screen ensures optimal ease of use.
This bathroom is both functional and beautiful at the same time.
