Our learners recently completed hands-on training in the construction and filling of gabion baskets. The practical activity gave them the opportunity to apply their knowledge while developing skills in assembling the wire baskets, selecting and packing suitable stone, maintaining the correct shape and working safely as a team.

Training like this prepares learners to carry out real construction and erosion-control work with confidence and skill.
