What a proud moment for Safety Secure!

Our team at the Limpopo Central Hospital project was awarded Second Place – Best Sub-Contractor at the 2026 MBA North OHS Regional Health & Safety Competition.

The award may have the Safety Secure name on it, but it belongs to every supervisor, safety representative, scaffolder and team member who puts in the hard work every day.

To the entire team, thank you for carrying our name with pride and for showing what can be achieved when everyone pulls in the same direction. We are extremely proud of you!

30-SECOND SITE TEST

Look at the photograph.

You have just arrived on site as the Safety Officer. What are the first three things you check before work continues?

We are not asking you to find something wrong with the photograph—we want to understand how you think when you arrive on a live construction site.

Safety Secure is looking for an experienced Safety Officer based in Cape Town.

The non-negotiables:

• You must currently be based in Cape Town
• You must hold valid and current SACPCMP registration as a Construction Health and Safety Officer (CHSO)
• You must have practical scaffolding experience
• You must have practical formwork experience
• You must be confident working with site teams and clients
• You must be prepared to take action and follow matters through to close-out

This is not a position for someone who only manages paperwork and safety files. We need someone who understands what is happening on site, communicates clearly and acts when something is not right.

Safety Secure is looking for an experienced Scaffolding Operations Manager who can take ownership of multiple active sites.

We need someone who can:

• Plan labour, material and transport
• Lead supervisors and hold teams accountable
• Balance safety, quality and production
• Communicate confidently with clients
• Know what is happening across every site
• Solve problems before they become emergencies

We’re not looking for someone who simply forwards messages. We’re looking for an operator who can take control and move projects forward.
